Supporting the communication/ behaviour of children across the spectrum

In this talk Geoff Evans will be exploring how understanding the communication and behaviour of autistic children and young people can enable parents and carers to provide the support required in these areas.  Following a brief overview of the difficulties experienced,  Geoff will discuss a range of practical strategies and approaches that have been shown to be effective. During the presentation Geoff will look at the particular needs of autistic young people with a Pathological ( Extreme ) Demand Avoidance profile in relationship to their interaction, communication and behaviour.
