YORK AUTISTIC’S MEET UP (YAM) GROUP

FOR ADULTS ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM INCLUDING ASPERGER’S SYNDROME

This group is for autistic adults (18+) who would like to meet other autistic people with similar experiences. 

This group is starting up again and there will be members of the Autism Inclusive Communities Group present during the initial phase to support the setting up of the group.

Most suited for

  • Adults (18+) who have already been diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum, including Asperger’s Syndrome. 
  • Adults who are currently going through a diagnostic assessment for autism.

Session content

  • Meet other autistic people
  • Socialise with like-minded people
  • Discuss experiences with a peer group
  • Develop the direction of the meet up group together
