Options Roxby House

Located in an idyllic rural setting close to Scunthorpe, Options Roxby House has been providing person-centred and outcomes focused support to young people with ASC and complex needs for more than a decade. Options Roxby House benefits from extensive facilities and a highly experienced staff team who focus on developing strategies that help young people with complex needs to make sense of and engage with the world around them. There are a number of opportunities for ongoing learning at Options Roxby House. In addition to the development of important life skills, young people are supported to study for AQA Entry Level Certificates and nationally accredited courses such as ASDAN. Young people are supported to access further education courses at local community colleges where appropriate. Options Roxby House also provides workshops on developing social and communication skills using Drama and Music, which are then linked to practical sessions in the local community. Support to identify and access practical work related learning opportunities and employment is also provided. From self-contained flats to single en-suite bedrooms with communal living areas, there is both separate and mixed accommodation available offering varying degrees of support that is flexible to young people's needs.
