Courses for learners who need additional support to develop their personal and social skills alongside accessing a vocational area are also available. The learners are able to follow a personalised timetable which meets their needs, wants and aspirations. The pathways provides opportunities to develop skills which enables them to participate as citizens within the community and where possible within the workplace. Learners who require Life Skills and have moderate to severe learning difficulties have personalised learning programmes. Learners are given opportunities to develop their social, communication and independent living skills. The holistic approach is aimed at increasing confidence and self- esteem whilst developing skills needed to express their views and opinions to make informed choices.
