Interact Specialist Children's Services supports children and young people with Autism, Aspergers, social and learning difficulties to learn life and vocational skills within a person centred framework. Development is achieved through an approach that maximises the strengths, abilities and interests of the individual, supporting them to reach their full potential. We were established in 2003 to provide a range of individually tailored service solutions for individuals with significant complex needs which may include, autistic spectrum disorders, aspergers, social disabilities, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, safeguarding and additional complex difficulties Building upon our success we have created additional services that have been commissioned by several local authorities throughout the UK Our bespoke packages of care, ranging from consultation, assessment and individual support to residential and educational support packages are a unique approach which enables each young person to meet their needs, achieve their goals and reach their full potential As a result of the progress made by the young people who have accessed our services we now have a 100% proven track record of: • 100% Meeting each young persons physical and emotional health needs • 100% Ensuring each child is safe and protected from abuse and exploitation • 100% Providing a stable home and support package for each young person • 100% Reintegration into education • 100% Supporting our young people to celebrate their achievements • 100% Supporting each young person to develop personal, life and social skills • 100% Ensuring each young person has a meaningfull active lifestyle • 100% Effectively promoting positive behavioural support • 100% Supporting each young person to learn to manage their behaviour • 100% Supporting our young people to make a positive contribution • 100% Supporting our young people to achieve economic well being • 100% Effective transition planning and implementaion • 100% Supporting our young people to move on to successfull lives Every child matters - especially to us Each placement provides: 52 week and shared care placements for children and young people aged 8-25 with autistic spectrum disorders, AS, social and learning difficulties. Additional complex needs and challenging behaviour supported by specialist behavioural support teams • Small group housing based on group dynamic principles • Person-centered approach within a supportive learning environment • Empowering young peoples with autism, ASD's, AS, social and learning difficulties to lead a fulfilling, more inclusive life • Calm, structured environments • Specialist, highly trained staff teams Young People Interact provide 52 week placements and Shared Care placements for young people between the ages of 8 and 25 years who significantly challenge traditional services. This may be through complex communication difficulties, complex behavioural patterns and trends or through additional complex needs. Each of our services for young people is registered and monitored by the appropriate UK lead registration and inspection body this includes: OFSTED; CQC; IIP; IIC and ASDAN Each young person is provided with a bespoke, robust, individual package of support tailored to meet his or her needs.
