About Sycamore Trust

Sycamore Trsut was formed in 2014 following on from the successful merger in 2011 of two local charties: Barking and Dagenham Mencap - which provided support for people affected by Learning Disabilities Parents of Autistic Children Together (P.A.C.T) - which provided support for people affected by Autistic Spectrum Disorders. Since the merge the orginisation has grown and expanded the services and support it provides. In 2013 it was decided that a complete re-brand was needed to relfect the changes and expansion that had taken place and after consultation with stakeholders it was decided that SYCAMORE TRUST was a name that not only epitomised our orginisation but also one which would take us into the future. We currently offer a range of services specifically designed to support families and individulas affected by Autism and Learning Difficulties.
